Since you are asking the question I would say NO. If you shave and decied not to again it may not grow back as thick. All the men I have known over the years like it natural. Do not allow any body to shave you in delivering a baby. The only place they may have to is below in between the legs. When I had my first baby in 74 my doctor told me he would only shave between the legs. The nurse took a swip at the front. When i told her what Doc had said, she turned to the registered nurse who said she is correst. She then said well I have to finish. The hair was so much thinner it was all I could do to have relations with my husband. It is etchie when growing back in. And if you decied to do it, you will be shaving often. And the angle is tricky to manage. You are going to nick your self quite often. Allowing STD's and body fluid disease another way in. So proceed with care. And think long and hard if you are doing this at the urging of a parter. It is your body, partners come and go. Even after marriage. If you do this, is it going to turn you on or someone else? I shave mine...but just on the top...
shave it. if not all off but most of it. the hair traps bacteria that can cause infections.
I just trim. I think that's a good compromise.

just remember to not let it get too "overgrown"..you dont want a forest down there - think about when you wear a bathing suit! just keep it neat if thats what youre worried about

its all about personal preference. Usially I either save it all off, wax it all off, shave most but leave a trimmed landing strip, shave the parts shat show outside my underwear and trin the rest very short. Depends what you like best

Go buy a beard trimmer. They make them for girls (only it's not for beards, lol). You should keep it about a half an inch long. That keeps it nice and tidy. If it's too bushy, it looks funny in your underwear. If it's shaved, it causes bumps all over the area and that's no fun at all.
So, get your little hand help beard trimmer and mow your lawn!
