HELP!! how can i gain weight!?!


Question: ok so im a 16 year old girl with a very high metabolism. ok i got two questions:

how can i gain som weight, like on my arms/legs/hips. i eat pretty healthily but nothing helps!! any weight i gain is lost while i sleep, like every morning i wake up thinner and become normal during the day, then thinner the next morning. how can i escape this vicious cycle and gain a few pounds! im approx 48kg/ 106lbs

also, this is kinda embarassing but i have a pretty small chest, 32A. my mum said i need to exercise to make them develop - but i thought exercising will just make me lose even more weight! or should i go to the gym regularly? i wanna "develop" more but i dont want to lose any more weight (im not anorexic or extremely skinny, my waist is 26" and im 5'4")

ok im trying to gain weight too and wat i do is i use a muscle and weight gainer powder which u can get from holland and barrett or any health shop.i mix it with 1 banana,a portion ov choc ice cream and a pint ov milk.i hav that instead of breakfast as i find it hard to eat in morning.ive ben taking that for 2 months now and have gained half a stone so it does work. i recomend u get the choc flavour.
plus i also have small boobies 32 a (snap) and i was told that doin pressups makes ur boobs smaller so avoid them.

Try out some weight lifting to build up some muscle

i would exercise and stay active and eat exactly what u do know healthy, just eat bigger portions and mayb a dessert would help.

WOW YOU ARE SO LUCKY!

I was always a thin girl, especially when I was younger, but that was b/c I did not eat a lot. A few years ago, I was able to gain quite a few lbs, but that was b/c I always ate fast food, and I was always snacking on muffins, donuts, chips, ice cream, and things like that. Maybe you should try to eat more fatty foods. Lately, I've lost a lot of my weight b/c I'm always working, or busy with something. But when you eat more, you defenitely can gain weight that way.

Im 19, and 115 pounds, I had the same problem growing up. I didn't develope breast much either untill I got pregnant. But I started drinking protien shakes, which helped me put on weight. If you go to a health store they should be able to show you a few brands of shake mixes that help to put on weight.

Just turn into a slob honstly its worked for me. Dont do any exercise. Eat whatever you want. This should make you gain weight. If you gain weight its also supposed to make your boobs grow.I put on a stone and a 1/2 and went from an A to a C cup.

If all fails ive heard the pill is good for weight gain . =] xxx

im 16 also and have a very small chest!
i actually went to the doctor and he said that its very normal for girls wth high motabolisms to be under weight! he also said that i should carry on the way i am.. because if you start putting on weight it might spiral out of control!

thats what ive been told.. and ive learnt to love my small chest! (its better than having massive saggy ones! haha

anyway be happy with your weight... many girls would love to be in your position!

also my doctor said that if you have a high motabilism when your younge then most of the time your motabolism with start going down and youl start to put on weight!

Maybe you wake up lighter because of water loss. Your mother, while trying to be helpful, is off the mark... boobs are fatty tissue ...you don't exercise fat into increasing. However, if that is the reason that you're trying to gain weight (to increase bust size) that may not work either... often when a woman gains weight it goes either to her butt or her thighs. When weight gain increases bust size it is usually on the body type that already has ample sized boobs. It is easy for me to say, "Don't worry about your boobs' size" when you're the one thats concerned with it. But I would suggest that you read a lot of the answers here about boob size and see that a lot of guys PREFER a lithe, trim woman. Personally your dimensions sound delicious. If you REALLY want to gain weight and try to see if things will change the way you want them to...milkshakes with cut up bananas in it. But I hope you pay close attention to where it's "going" or you'll be back on here asking, "How do I get pounds off my thighs?" But truly I hope that you will consider that what will attract a decent guy is not bust size but rather personality, your eyes, your smile, and a presence that doesn't scare guys off. If guys are most motivated by bust size they are "quantitative oriented" jerks just like gals that go for "dimensions". You sound attractive and maybe the best thing you could do is this: go to the mall and buy stuff that you think enhances your appearance. Model it for yourself in the mirror and with each successive outfit audibly say something affirming, "Damn, now there's an attractive woman !" "Now THAT'S a hottie there!" or"Uhnn, if I could I'd date that woman in a heartbeat !" .... Whatever, I'll bet that you're beautiful.... just befriend yourself.

Eat sugary foods
Have takeaways and fast food
But stay healthy

i used to 5'6 and 112 lbs.. i tried everything eating, sleeping, u name it i tried it just to gain some pounds but still im thin as a pencil until i tried going to the gym for 2 months straight then i stopped know what? im now 142 lbs :) but the problem is i cant stop gaining weight im afraid that if i became fat i could get a heart attack.. my advice for you is try working out a bit for 2 months and then STOP :)
