here's how you will NEVER get a tampon stuck up there...check for the string that dangles below the tampon applicator. make sure it is dangling below and not stuck up inside the applicator.
and you're set, the string won't disappear and the tampon won't get stuck.
what happens when a tampon gets stuck up there is the tampon's string is jammed inside the applicator, so when you push the tampon into the vagina, the string goes in to the vagina too and there is nothing there to pull it back out.
if the string is dangling, the applicator naturally stops at a certain point, where you can't push it up any further no matter what you do, so you can't push it up too high.

if this ever happens to you, you don't have to go to the hospital! this is kind of gross and scary, but way better than going to the hospital. okay, so what you do is set down some towels on the ground and squat with your legs apart. squeeze your vagina muscles and insert your fingers into your vagina. you will feel the tampon and be able to grab it and pull it out. i've had to do it before...its gross, but hey its not that bad and if you follow what i said above, it will never happen to you.

Deep breath, that is very rare, when you insert the plastic bit only put it as far as the thickest part with go then insert it, i use that as like a measuring device lol

i have never come close to having that happen.. and i've been using tampons for years and years now. just use the lighter ones to try them out and see how they work for you... don't go with the super plus or anything like that. i think once you get over your fear of it you will find alot of comfort in tampons.. much cleaner, don't have to change them as often, don't smell

use pads they are better for you anyways!!
