Is it an urinary tract infection?!

Question: I have been experiencing an achy, numb pain in upper right pelvic area for the past week or so. I noticed it really hurts when I sit for a period of time, then get up and try to walk. Today I noticed a little bit of blood in my urine. I've noticed a very strong odor for the past couple of days and a burning sensation.

Hi there,

I've had numerous UTI's and thought I'd give u a list of things that work for me...

*Berocca - fill up a 2litre bottle w water & berocca and take at list a swig every couple of minutes (the berocca lifts ur spirits and helps the fluid pass quicker)

*Ethical Nutrients - Urinary Strac Support tablets (about $20 AUS) BUT THEY ARE WORTH IT!!! As soon as you buy them take about 5 (they are very small) and then every hour after take 2 or 3 (only on first day or very acute cases).

*Drink cranberry Juice

* Nurofen helps a little with the pain of passing fluid.

* Hire out some movies and wait it out on the couch : ( make sure ur remote has a pause button coz u'll be using it quite regularly.

*Invest in some very soft toilet paper!

*If you get prescribed anti-biotics, make sure u take a pro-biotic (inner health plus) otherwise u will also end up with Thrush - NOT FUN!

DO NOT DRINK:
Soft Drink
Coffee
Milk
Alcohol

DO NOT HAVE SEX!!!

Hope this helps :D

yes, get medical help

Sounds like a UTI ...go see your dr.

Yes, those were the symptoms I experienced the many times I've had UTI's. Just treat them as soon as possible or they'll get worse and worse.

Also, try to drink plenty of water. That helps you have something to pee (because during UTI's you HAVE to pee even if it's just a few drops.. and it really burns) and it helps wash all the bacteria out. Try to lay off the caffeine because that really contributes to the UTIs.
