Vaginal Thrush - Help!?!
Question: I have thrush *sigh* and have taken a tablet from the chemist for it. It's a day later and absolutely nothing is better! I know it's thrush becuase I've had it beforeand I was hoping someone might have advice on how to sooth the pain and itching? I have dont the 'dip a tampon in yoghat' thing ... anything else? The worst rea is the clitoras which is SO sore.
Also, what can be dont to prevent it? I have had it maybe 3 times in the past year!

well the outside may still be sensetive even though you have taken the tablet. i would buy the thrust creams at the chemist and just use that a couple of times a day. it should help soothe the itchiness. if you use like the entire bottle and is still really sore, i suggest you see a gynaecologist.
wear panty liners during the day, dont use nylon underwear.
wash that area before going to bed with Lactacyd or any feminine wash. If you stay at home, don't wear any underwear. let it breath for awhile. remember that bacteria flourish in dark, damp area.
