What should I do- period and wedding?!

Question: I have a wedding to go to tomorrow, I'm 14 and I just came on my period. I have to wear white jeans, thats all I have to go with!
How can I make sure to save myself from leaking, ideally not using tampons because I'm not completly comfortable with them yet. =]

If your flow is really heavy, the only thing you can do is buy overnight thin maxi pads. I like the brand " always" they cover you from front to back and they aren't noticable. Take a few extra with you in your purse and change quite often so that you don't have to worry or feel insecure. It's frustrating I know :P Hope you have a great time.

Use a long, winged pad and make sure to change it OFTEN.

Also, try to pay attention to how you are sitting or bending. Make sure the pad is directly underneath you so that nothing leaks off the side.

if u are not going to wear tampons, just be sure to go to the bathroom frequently and change your pad, just to be sure that it is not getting full.

Go to the bathroom often and check/change your pad frequently.

if you use the pads with wings...im pretty sure you wont leak.
and just bring extra pads with you...and go to the bathroom every once in a while to change pads and check for leakage.

try different tampon brands.
I started my period at 11..if I remember right.. no problem using them either.
You'll feel more comfortable in a tampon than standing in white jeans without one!

Definately use a pad, but underneath your pants you should wear white spandex shorts... this always works for me

Try using good branded pads that are anti-leak or extra absorbent. Always(that's brand name) will do or aanything that seems comfortable.

take lots of pads with u of good brand change more often
