Take aspirin 1 tablet every 4 hours.

It is strongly recommended to consult your doctor for professional advice. Above mentioned information and recommendations are just general and should be adapted to each person according to personal health indicators and status.

Hey lovely :) I get AWFUL pains and have to stay off school and lie in bed all day - sometimes brings me to tears. Get a hot water bottle - they do WONDERS. have soup (to warm up your insides) or something, hot drink, hot water bottle. This sll helps to numb the pain. Rest and yeah - pain killers help too :) Hope this helps! xxx

Try taking feminax which are specially designed for period pains, i suffered bad with period pains before i went on the pill and that is that i used to take, they are much more effective than everyday paracetomol.
Also try putting a hot water bottle, or wheat bag on your stomach as the heat soothes the pain.
Hope this helps =]

use a hot compress! / hot water bag.

You should see you doctor, you could have PMDD, a fancy term for "hard periods", they do have a medicine out for that. In the mean time, have you been tested for endemitrosis? That could be another factor. I would only take Ibuprofen or Midol, something to that affect, until you see your doctor.

Use heatbags.

Try light excersise. Eg, walking, pilates, yoga.

Keep taking paracetamol or try some other pain killers that are specifically for period pain.

Eat chocolate, it helps.

Try and just keep relaxed.

Breathe deeply. I do this when the pains really bad and to me it makes me feel a bit better.

I personally favor naproxen, or brand name 'Aleve' pills. They're pretty good at lessening the pain, and they also have a longer half-life than other OTC pain killer.

Talk to your gynecologist about birth control, too. Birth control may help make your periods shorter and lighter, or stop them entirely.
