Question: Has anyone else had the Essure Procedure done? What do you think of it?
FYI- this procedure is done in-office where the doctor inserts a small coil into each fillopian tube and your body then produces scar tissue around the coil to block off the ovulation cycle. Similar to having the tubes "tied", but without surgery.

really? I have never heard of it. I want to get my tubes tied, but I am only 22 years old and have 2 kids. In my state you have to be 25 years old or have 3 kids to get your tubes tied.
my sister has a IUD and it was half in and half out when she went for the check up so i don't view them as reliable they can slip out all to easy and now my sister has to worry about pregnancy
thanks and good luck i hope you reconsider or at least research the pregnancy rates with your form of contraceptive before having my sisters problem
