Women, if you are on the pill, what do you take and do you recommend it?!
Question: Up until about 4 months ago I had been using LoEstrin 1.5/30 (husband got a vasectomy last year, so I don't have to worry about it any more!)
It worked well FOR ME, but some people don't like LoEstrin. So the best thing to do is give some various formulations a try and see which one does well FOR YOU.
One tip: Many people do far better on monophasic pills than on tri-phasics, because you're using a single chemical all month long rather than changing every single week.

I'm on Dianette and it suits me well, but doctors generally won't prescribe it as a first line contraceptive pill because it carries a 3 times higher risk of blood clots than other contraceptive pills. But if you have problems with acne or excess hair growth, then it's good for both of them.
