Angry Bride Throws Guests Out In Cold?!

Question: About 50 people came into the hall whether low cut dresses, disabled, old, infirm and people that waited a super long time 2 hours just to get in. It was extremely cold outside and windy, and on a hill.

BRIDE "hires" a woman to say: "Everyone the bride is angry and upset. She wants everyone to GET OUT RIGHT NOW." That meant all the guests had to get out of the reception area and back outside in the cold., and one lady even fell.

All the guests were shocked, and dinner was served COLD at 9:15 p.m. despite wedding being at 4:30!

What do you think of this bride and her actions?

I can understand stress, but to treat guests like this--isn't a bride supposed to be happy that she has guests? I mean isn't this uncalled for. Your thoughts????

Tell me, please, that the people didn't stand around in the cold, but got back in their cars. IF they planned to wait at all.

This is unbelievable behavior on the part of the bride. If she was in tears about something, her mother or maid of honor should have made an announcement of some sort. Worse case -- she found out that the groom or an ex-boyfriend has threatened the security of the marriage... and in that case, the maid of honor or the brides parents invite the guests to enjoy the meal, and thank them for coming.

I am sure that the reception was NOT a joy and love filled occasion, with everyone worried about soothing the brides hurt feelings.

Had I been a guest, I probably would have waited up to an hour for the event to re-start, and then offered my condolences to the bride's mother and gone home.

She's ostracized. They should have left after an hour, and take the gift back.

Never talk to her again.

TX Mom

completely uncalled for. wtf seriuosly, my condolences to the people thrown out.

yea that bride went way out of control, ill will call her bridezilla

Extremely immature and rude. This woman is not ready to be a wife, let alone a mother.
