Slightly confused?!

Question: I want to save myself for marriage, but I am slightly confused about something. I heard that it is going to hurt the first time, because something gets torn, but when I put a tampon on it slides in pretty easily, even the supers, and theirs no discomfort besides the cramps, so why does it hurt when a penis goes in? Exactly what is being torn, and did one of my tampons maybe rip it by accident?

First off, congrats on wanting to save yourself for marriage!

The first time is usually little uncomfortable, not painful. This is due to the size of a man's penis in comparison to the tampons that you mentioned.

The "tearing of something" refers to the tearing of the hymen, most women by the time they reach age of menstruation because of physical activity, those who haven't lost it by then usually do through use of tampons. This does not by any means make you non-virgin.

dude
weird question!!
ask your mommy

The thing getting ripped is your Hymen
it's a thin layer of tissue in the vagina.
Yes it is possible that a tampon ripped it and you didn't even know. When people say it hurts the first time and then say somethin about the hymn ripping, they're wrong.
When people say it hurts it's because their vagina is smaller or tighter. it could also be the size of the mans penis.
When your hymn breaks it doesn't hurt.
If you have sex for the first time it may or may not hurt depending on the penetration speed, how wet you are, how wide your vagina is able to become and how large the penis is.

your tampons could of stretched u a bit, but the hymen is the thing that tears. some women bleed when it tears & some dont. I know i did. it also depends on your anatomy down there. u could b wide or narrow. probobly not narrow though. and u will feel it when your partner penetraits u cause the penis is bigger than the largest tampon or @ least it shoud b. the pain will also depend on how big your husbands penis is.
