All good answers above.

Just make sure you wash yourself well down there, with soap and water.
It helps if you shower every day too.
If you're already doing that, then it could be a yeast infection.
Tell your mom.
Don't be afraid, she's definitely been through it herself, and won't react badly at all! This is all normal stuff.

It could be a yeast or bacterial infection. You need to talk to your mom or another trusted adult and go to the doctor.

It sounds like it could be a yeast infection. Let your mom or other adult get you some medication at the store....you don't need a prescription

I know that bothers me too. I am 13. And you cant just walk around scratching yourself or whatever. At first I thought something was wrong, but dont worry your fine.

see a doctor. it may be an infection

I'm 13 and I had/have the same problem it might be your hair down below that's itching because that is what was wrong with me and I shaved mine but I would just try and find a way to stop the itch.

You say down there - In the pubic hair ? Vagina?
If you have had sex, could be a type of lice??? Yeast infection - number of things -

It sounds to me like you have a yeast infection, it's totally normal and nothing to worry about, it just means that you body produces too much yeast, women and girls get them all the time, tell your mom about the itching and tell her you think it's a yeast infection and she will get you something for it, canesten or something, it's no big deal nothing to be ashamed about. Good luck.

I am a Medical person had the same experience.

Firstly tell your parents about your problem and Keep your genitals clean and dry.

You may have fungus/bacterial infection there. It is most commen for most of the persons as it wet most of times.

Apply any cortisone cream/ointment three times a day for 14 days. For itching tablet LIVOCITRIZINE 1 tab a day helps more. You will find difference. in 2 days.
