Question: i had a total hysterectomy 1 month ago and pretty much healed up but now dr wants to remove my right ovary because of a cyst on it it is all he left when he did my surgery before does any one know about homone therapy or if i would have to take hormones if i have it removed or if weight gain is expected? any feedback is appreciated thanks.

If you have bilateral hysterectomy + salphingooophorectomy, it means your hormonal supply will be gone, so you'll have to take hormonal replacement therapy.
weight gain and some other side effects are expected, but results vary in each woman.
there are many types of HRT, so you should consult with your Ob/Gyn doctor.
