Is it my period?? girls only please?!
Question: im 13 and havent gotten my period yet. just today i started bleeding a littlle from down there...its just a light red on the toilet paper its not messing my underwear or anything...and i feel sore and tender a bit down there. has it come or what could it be? im not close to my mom so cant ask for anything. also if it is will it get a bit heavier. its really really really light barely noticable.

yep you're starting your period.. sounds exactly like my daughters.. shes 11, started xmas and still only bleeds a lil bit it will get heavier eventually but not for a while im guessing.. go get some sanitry pads or mini tampax, if you're a lil scared you could ask a neighbour, friend, teacher, or aunty etc to get some for you. If you get any cramps a hot water bottle on ur stomach (and lower back if this hurts aswell) will help the pain, better than using painkillers at your young age. Dont worry if you miss a month here n there.. my daughter does, it takes a while before they regulate.. a good tip is to mark ur days off on a calender each month and always keep a couple of pads/tampax in your school bag to avoid awkward moments with male teachers etc..

Sounds like you are going to start =) its not as bad as people think, give it a few days, however if its burns you should see your doctor for a urine infection
Sounds like it and yes it will get heavier. Maybe not during this cycle but the next. Your cycle can last anywhere between 3-7 days
Sounds like your period. It usually starts light, and since it's your first, that might make it light too. Also, some girls/women just have lighter periods that others. Good luck! FYI I'm 13 too and just started my period last month. I know how you feel.
ya hun u r starting but it may b spotting so dont go tellin every one and i suggest pads till ur in full swing
