A laparoscopic surgery is way better!
It is done fast, you will recover fast and it will leave not scars!

I hope you are still in school as you need help with spelling.
A lap is better in that it does not cut across muscles. It is better to have 2 to 3 small cuts than a large cut as it is easier and quicker to heal.
The gas is not painful as it is absorbed into your body. The pain is from the distension of your abdomen and it quickly fades. It is like eating too much and having gas.
Appys are common surgeries, but are not usually done unless there is a problem with infection in the appendix and that means immediate surgery.
Most laps are considered one day surgeries where you go in early in the morning and leave that evening. Usually you are not put under anesthesia and only have a local (injection of a deadening agent) with an oral medications to help you relax.
If you do not have complications, a regular surgery is usually an overnight stay as you are put to sleep and have to be fully recovered to go home.
To heal the fastest, a lap is much easier on you.
