Need help and opinions, not sure what's going on. Could I be pregnant?!
Question: Last reg period began 2/25, my bf & I had unprotected sex (haven't been on bc since '07 & no withdrawl) on 3/9 & severals times around then with withdrawls. Expected period to begin 3/24, it's now 4/5 & I'm NEVER late. On 3/26 I had very light pink spotting, only occasionally when I wiped, for 2 days. In the last week I have been having these symptoms: very sluggish, achey lower back, more frequent urination, cramping, itchy nipples, ect. In the past few days I have been getting headaches, nausea, cold-like symtoms, extremely emotional, & now breasts are very sore. Not under any stress & haven't made any changes in medicine, diet or exercise. Haven't thrown up any & had two neg home tests, one on 03/28 and one on 03/30. Went to doc for blood test, they were neg, lab tech said based on dates it was way too early to tell. Also neg for uti & stds. Would normally chalk symtoms up to pms or stress but spotting concerned me. How long does it normally take, what else could be going on?

According to your explanations - you had unprotected sex on XIV day of your cycle which is the most fertile ovulation day. If you and your bf are healthy - you had a very high chance for pregnancy.
Concerning your feelings - looks like pregnancy.
Concerning pregnancy tests - they could be false as they were done early.

I think you need to do another test. It sounds like you are pregnant.

Well... the only way to get pregnant is to have intercourse, so yeah you might be pregnant... especially if you had it about a week after your period. (Because you usually ovulate during that time)
Like my mom, before she was pregnant (with me), she had nausea and a fever.
Try see the doctors again or take a home pregnancy test.
wait another week then take another home preg. test. beacuse it may be to early to detect being that you had sex so frequently you are not really sure as to what date you may/or may not have become pregnant. But don't stress and worry about not having your period because that will make your period late too. Believe me I've been there myself.
