Tampon Discomfort?!
Question: okay so am 20 lol so I never really wore tampons because of the discomfort I have with them, but I want to start wearing them. So I am wondering why I have this discomfort? I KNOW I push it is far enough. Since I am a virgin I am using lites because it seems like the other ones might be too big. Could it just be the string I am feeling?

I had the same problem! I always knew it was high enough, but I could still feel it there, and it was uncomfortable (even after the loss of virginity). I fixed the problem by switching to Playtex Sport - I can't feel either the regulars or the supers. I also seem to have better results when I push the tampon towards my back instead of up.
Hopefully you'll have the same results. There are also other brands to try (maybe Tampax Pearl or Playtex Slimfits will work.)
P.S. It's possible that we just have sensitive vaginas. If you ever decide to explore birth control, I would recommend against the diaphragm since I could always feel it even when my gyno swore it was fitted right, but I can't feel the NuvaRing at all.
you shouldnt be able to feel it if its in there right. um...make sure you really relax before putting them in. and that your in a comfortable position.
could be there is too much dryness when you apply the tampon.
