I think your sister should get a physical. It might be something simple, like not drinking enough water, or it could be that her weight is putting a strain on her back, or it could be that she has a herniated disk which will need to be fixed. That her heart hurt could be nothing, or it could be a sign of a murmer or other problems. It is possible to die at age 26 of a stroke, and her weight and lack of exercise might lead to that.

You gave me a 'best' rating for yesterday's answer, and there's something I want to correct. I thought you wrote that your height is 5'11 -- if it's 5'1, you have a BMI of 42.7, not 30.7. Please go to the doctor and get checked yourself, for your own sake. Even if you don't have health problems now, getting in shape will vastly improve the quality of your life for the rest of your life. I hope you will get checked out.

she is overweight...obese for her height
too much weight on the body can cause numerous health problems, not limited to back aches and chest pain.
She needs to lose weight, but first she needs s dr's appt.

She's overweight.

Your sister is over weight!!!!!! She needs to lose weight because it has started to cause irreversible effects on her heart and joints! Try getting your sister to work out with you and make it a family thing. This way she won't get bored with it!

Hope that helped. Good luck!
