Does your insurance pay for your birth control pills?!

Question: If so, did you have to go through an approval process to get them? How much do you pay a month for them?
Thanks!

Yes, have Aetna. Use the mail order and pay $25 for a 3 month supply. No approval needed, just put through the Doctor's prescription to the mail order service.

It depends on your insurance. My insurance won't cover birth control pills nor will cover maturity.
That's means I stuck with the bills and I better not get pregant because I will have to pay for all of the hospital bills.
That is what I got from Blue Cross because that is all I could afford.

I would suggest you look on your insurance card for the prescription provider information so you know who to contact. They might not cover it all or you might just have your set copay. You just never know unless you call and ask. Your pharmacist might know as well. They deal with insurance all the time. Most insurance companies also have a website you can check.

my insurance covers most of the cost for bith controll pills. I depends on the insurance company but it costs me $21 for 3 months worth of pills.

Hope this helps!
