I started..whats going on?!
Question: I started the birth control "Demulen" because of hormone problems and to try and get my period started, and then come off later to see if I can have one on my own( have not had a natural one for almost 2 years, tried provera twice- and been on Metformin since early July, also lost over 50 pounds- the next thing to do is try this. ) Anyways, I am getting a white gunky discharge O_O kind of like I am ovulating!! How is this possible!! Birth control stops the ovulation process , from what I read about it... could it not be working? Or is something else going on?

It could just be hormones, I never did get on the type you are on so I can't comment on that specifically. Have you taken an antibiotic lately? It sounds like it could be yeast. Also, are you sexually active? Sometimes if we are very active (my husband is very active) our bodies discharge to 'clean' themselves out.
I have discharge a lot, and have been to the doctor with no diagnosis of yeast or bacteria, so it is just my "normal".
You might want to go in for a pap smear just to make sure it isn't yeast or bacteria.
1st how old are you?
2nd that white stuff means in about a year is when you'll hae your period
