Heres some tips on how to insert the tampon.
Relax! Try not to worry about inserting the tampon right the first time. If you are tense it will make insertion harder.
The best time to practice inserting a tampon is during the heavy part of your period. The tampon should glide inside your vagina easily without any discomfort.
Decide if you prefer to insert the tampon standing or sitting. If sitting is your preference, sit on the toilet. If you want to try standing, putting one foot on the bathtub helps.
Hold the tampon applicator in your right hand if you are right-handed, or left if left-handed.
Use your thumb and middle finger to hold the bottom of the larger, outer tube.
Point the tip of the applicator toward your vagina, facing slightly towards the back. The smaller tube should be pointed away from your body.
Use your other hand to open your vagina.
Place the tip of the applicator at the opening of your vagina.
Gently push the smaller end of the applicator in until it is completely inside the larger outer tube. This pushes the tampon into your vagina and out of the tube.
With your thumb and middle finger still on the outer tube, release the smaller tube and let the strings dangle freely.
Gently pull the two tubes out together.
Dispose of the applicator according to the manufactuer's instructions.
When you are ready to remove the tampon, gently pull the withdrawl strings down and forward. The used tampon may be flushed down the toilet.

Lubricating the rounded end of the tampon with a water-based lubricant such as K-Y Jelly can make insertion easier the first few times. Don't use petroleum jelly.
Always read the manufactuer's instructions throughly before using any type of tampon.
If the tampon feels uncomfortable it is probably not inserted far enough into your vagina. Try again with a new tampon.

you know what, I am having the same PRoblem :(

relax your muscles.

You shouldn't have any trouble inserting a tampon, you may want to visit a gyno and have a pelvic exam, some woman have a very low cervix which can prevent things from going in too far.

Read the directions and see if you are doing something wrong. There are directions on the box and there are some on a piece of paper in the box. Practice makes perfect hon. It took me about 4 tries to get it in right. You can do it. Good luck =)

Well whenever you first start using tampons you have to get used it. I'm sure its in the right spot if you arent leakin everywhere.

Try to relax as much as you can. read the instructions that you get and follow them as exact as you can. Just try at a different angle and see if it easier. Good luck xx

Maybe it's too big, get a smaller size.

try using the tampons with a good grip on the applicator
if your hand is having trouble holding on to the outside of the little part that sticks out, your tampon won't go in

make sure your fingers are dry and that you're holding the outer tube firm and and push the inner part

you're almost pulling the outer tube out by pushing it in so if it doesnt push in easily you can also try pulling the outer part out while pushing the inner part in

ps - when your tampon is in the right way you shouldn't be able to feel it inside you when you walk/sit/squat/etc.

I agree with most of the answers but please dont flush used tampon down the toilet. It will cause plumbing problems.

you should probably just use pads, or you could go natural, and stop sticking things in your ****!

thats pretty hot.....
