Is it normal to spot before your menstrual period?!
Question: How can you tell the difference between implantation bleeding and regular spotting just before you bleed? I know women who have said that they had something like a period (light to medium spotting) just before they were supposed to/scheduled to have a period when they found out they were pregnant.

When are you suppose to start? If its just in a few days, then yes spotting can be normal. Especially if you are on birth control and you have missed a pill or late one day.
