Re-Occurring Pregnancy Dream?!

Question: This is the 3rd time in the last month that I have a had a dream that I am pregnant. The first time was the day after Easter, which was the night after my boyfriend and I had unprotected sex. About 5 days later he had a dream I was pregnant and just last night I had another dream I was pregnant. I am not suppose to start for 4 more days but usually I am moody and cramping a week before, but I haven't at all. I know I need to wait to take a test but is there a possibilty these could be signs?

Hey Girl, there is always the possiblilty of being pregnant anytime you are sexually active.

The dream thing did actually happen to me though. I dreamed that I was pregant with 5 babies...I actually had ended up with twins!!

On the other hand however, our bodies can do this too if you are over anxious or scared of getting pregnant or wanting to become pregant. Your mind can be subconsciously thinking about it all the time therefore causing your dreams. As far as your boyfriend goes...pretty much the same thing, especially if he is spooked by the thought or just overly happy about it too.

There are preg tests that you can take at home for early detection, and you will never get a false positive..but you can get a false negative. So, if you have been regularly sexually active for some time now without protection then it wouldn't hurt to do a test now. But waiting it out just a few more days will definately narrow it down for you.
Usually a person would have more than just dreams as symptoms, but hey we are all different. I hope the best for you and it would be neat if you really are pregnant and had an intuition about it. Either way, good luck to you and the BF!

Its probable that since both of you are worrying about you being pregnant, that worry has transcended into your dreams. Stop having unprotected sex and you'll stop worrying in your dreams. Good Luck.

My friend had a bunch of dreams that she was pregnant before she took the pregnancy test and it was positive...BUT I have dreams ALL THE TIME that I am pregnant and I'm obviously not because I am still trying to conceieve. So it isn't an obvious sign that you are pregnant but if your period is late, take a test!

You can't control what you dream about, no matter how hard you try. If you are worried about being pregnant, especially if you're thinking about it right before you go to bed, that is a possible reason why you're having these dreams.

It seems like you're worried about this now, which obviously wasn't on your mind while having unprotected sex. But the fact that you get moody and start cramping a week before the dreaded curse doesn't mean that you're pregnant. Stress causes delays on when you get your period. So relax and just wait for it to come. And if it doesn't, than as soon as you have a dream about playing the lottery, I would suggest remembering those numbers and playing them in real life.

These dreams are probably happening because you are afraid that you are pregnant, not because your body is trying to tell you that you are. Of course it is possible that you might be pregnant after having unprotected sex, but the dreams probably don't mean anything.

I'd recommend waiting until at least two days after your period usually starts before taking a pregnancy test. Pregnancies can be hard for tests to detect early on, so if you wait another week or so it will have a better chance of giving you an accurate yes or no.

It could be your hormones going wild.
