Why is it taking so long for medical researchers to come out with a male contrac!

Question: The female pill has been out for decades and they're only just now thinking it might be a good idea to make a male pill.

Personally, I can't take hormones (they destroy my body) and no one likes condoms. The other methods are all unsubstantial or painful.

Anyone else with me?

Because they are too busy creating "male enhancement" products! things would be a lot different if we were in a matriarchal society... :)

I went off the pill after 10 years and feel better than ever. People suggested the sponge, IUD, etc. They were all sounding too painful and like a hassle. I'm lucky to be in a great relationship, and if get pregnant at this point; so be it.

Good luck finding something suitable for your needs.

There is a male contraceptive pill, it is not marketed because guys are not the ones left holding the baby, so it would not work

i concur, it's a tender subject. you'd think that since there are male pregnancies in this day and age, they would've concocted a male contraceptive.
yes, real male prenancies. if science can insert a placenta into a man and he is pregnant- very healthy too- why isnt there birth control pills for men!??
look up this dude Lee, in new york, manhatten i believe. its insane. pregnant asian man.

Actually there is one. They developed it quite a few years ago. But its not on the market yet. There have been alot of studies and research on and it I think it basically comes down to will the men take it?

Alot of women also didn't feel comfortable having the birth control be completely up to the male. I think there was a show on Oprah or something about it. Most females would rather have the control of it.

Realistically they have a point. The man is not the one who would get stuck with the child.

I completely understand what you mean about the hormones. Male-contraceptive pills are being worked on, apprently. I just think it needs to be soon.
