TENs Machine For Period Pains....?!
Question: I suffer very badly every month from ye olde menstrual cramp... nothing the doctor prescribes seems to work and sometimes I find myself taking a mixture of drugs I shouldnt and farr to much!! Despite this... the pain still wins and I am having to take time off work every month!! I've heard TENS machines can work.. has anyone had any experience with them?

I have a serious back condition which makes my periods cramp and they are very painful. Tens machines are very helpful, although some women dont feel any effect. Its completely safe to use, which is a good point, and theyre easy to work. You just place the stickies on the part of your body that hurts, and it sends electrical signals to your brain trying to block off some of the pain signals to the area.
