HAD REGULAR PERIOD but now spotting ? Please help me ? 2nd post ?!

Question: I got my period a week late this month. My periods are very regular, I get them once a month for 5 days. The first day of my period, it was light pink / brown. Then later on that day up til the 5th day of my period it was bright red. I had very icky dark red clots that were pretty big. Some even had a string at the end.

After my 5 day period, I was spotting. I NEVER spot before like this. Everything would be gone, no blood then a few hours later a little brown / pink discharge on my undies. Then gone, then comes back. And sometime I see it only if I wipe with toilet paper.

Whats going on ? Please help ? I've never spot like this before ? I'm not having any symptoms of pregnancy, I don't believe so. I don't burn when I pee. I have minor cramps here and there but noting serious. HELP ?

The symptoms of pregnancy are different for every woman (and can differ with each women from pregnancy to pregnancy). When in doubt, DON'T doubt that you might be pregnant. For your safety and the safety of your potential offspring, take a pregnancy test. If anything it will ease your mind when you see the result of the pregnancy test and can move on to consider other sources for your symptoms.

Many times women who are in their early pregnancy will bleed. This can occur at the time when their normal period would have been. Bleeding can also occur 5-10 days after conception as the fetus attaches itself to the blood-rich wall of your womb.

If you are young, irregular periods are not uncommon. If this is unusual for you and it worries you, I would suggest contacting your OB-GYN as soon as you can. Clotting and thickness in blood can result from a variety of things. For some, hormone changes can tell your body to shed your menstral blood late, causing you to have thicker periods. If you are on a contraceptive of any kind, it is important to note that contraceptives increase the volume of blood and can cause clotting, risk for this increases in women who smoke or who are over the age of 35. Talking to your doctor is always the best route.

call your doctor if you have a lot of clots then that is not good

you will have irregular periods so dont worry! trust me youll be fine i wondered that but people said i was fine and i am!
