Period Question!!! Help?!

Question: Ok so, I have been under redic amounts of stress lately, and also changed my diet to more organics and basically no meat or dairy (i am lactose intolerant) . I have just started excercizing in the last 3 weeks too.

this month i was about 7 days late for my period, and for the last 4 or 5 days Ive had light and brown discharge and cramping.

i cant be pregnant, we use condoms and never had an accident.

so whats the deal??

its probably the huge lifestyle change that you have just made. thats a lot of stress on the body!

i would see your GYN just in case though. especially if youre cramping. the brown discharge isnt that uncommon.

being late for your period is totally normal seeing as how youre beginning an exercise program. the cramping and brown stuff my be your period this month. sometimes your body will skip periods when you become more active. stress can also throw your body out of whack. not only when it comes to the mentrual cycle but in other aspects.

i wouldnt worry too much.

but...if you just cant sleep until you know.... take an over the counter test : ) and put your mind at ease.

you sound to me to be totally normal : )

usually it depends on ur exercise in ur life and diet so it will change

Sometimes the change in diet can cause a change in the period, I wouldn't worry about it.

You might want to get a pregnancy test to make sure.

im adoctor i think it might be AIDS

You just answered your own question silly. Evertime theres a major change in the body such as stress, diet, a big move..anything, it changes your hormones and therefore disrupting your cycle. Just give it time and your period will come and then will be right back on track. If you get THAT worried you might be preggo just take a test in about a week if you dont get your period by then. BUt your fine, this happens to all of us.

all of the things that you have said could change your period when i was a teenager and played softball alot it changed my cycle and stress can also make you late

might be normal menstrual but be sure to rule out pregnancy..

the stress and change in diet probably threw your body out of whack, so you to be late for your period, but because you have brown discharge it is probably just a very light period.

well first off, condoms are only about 85% effective even if they are ussed perfectly. even the TINIEST hole, even one you cant see can get you pregnant. not trying to scare you. just telling you .

stress nad diet changes can effect your period. and if its late, its brown becuase its old. gross yea. but its been there for a hwile longer than it ussually is so thats why its bronw . its happened to me before and thats what the doc and my mom siad

Nothing as far as birth control is 100 per cent effective. I would get a pregnancy test done just to be sure. Stress can play a part as well, but to put your mind at ease, do a pregnancy test first. Good Luck

STD STD STD STD!! yup you have STD STD STD STD!

My advice is to see a Doctor. There are several possibilities you need to rule out. Exercize and starvation can effect periods however the discharge is a warning sign you should not ignore. It could be an infection, it could be cancer, it could be an ovarian cyst, or you could be pregnant. Condoms are not 100 percent effective and you can spot during the early stages of pregnacy. It is much better to be safe than sorry.

Dont worry hun, seriously this is just a change to your body, as you are eating more organic foods, and excersising and have had a lot of stress,
This is why this is happening.
Also the brown discharge will be old bloody from last times period that hasn't come out.

Don't worry x
