White sticky discharge??!
Question: wenever i go 2 the bathroom, i see a white/clear sticky discharge in my underwear. it smells weird, but it only has little smell. can someone tell me wat this is? by the way, im 12 yrs old and i havent got my period yett

You are normal.
Once you start puberty a white and/or clear, non-foul smelling discharge (mucous) is normal. The vagina is self-cleaning. You will also have your own 'scent' (musky) and it will smell stronger to you than to others. This same discharge increases the closer you get to ovulation and when you are sexually aroused. Trust me, you don't ever want it to go away. Use pantyliners. You can have this discharge for weeks, months or even years before getting your first period.
Different Types of Discharge:
White: Thick, white discharge is common at the beginning and end of your cycle. Normal white discharge is not accompanied by itching. If itching is present, thick white discharge can indicate a yeast infection.
Clear and stretchy: This is "fertile" mucous and means you are ovulating.
Clear and watery: This occurs at different times of your cycle and can be particularly heavy after exercising.
Yellow or Green: May indicate an infection, especially if thick or clumpy like cottage cheese or has a foul odor.
Brown: May happen right after periods, and is just "cleaning out" your vagina. Old blood looks brown.

it is discharge and i believe it is the start to getting your period. it sort of smells icky and is sortof not completely white, sometimes clear or yellow?? last time my health teacher said it was just called vaginal discharge and it IS completely normal.
That is very, very normal. I had it when I was your age. By the time you finish your teens, you won't have it anymore though.
sounds normal but if it gets itchy it could be a yeast infection. if this happens dont worry. yeast infections can happen due to hormone changes or use of antibiotics and are easy to cure.

I don't know why it happens exactly, but I think it's because the vagina is a self-cleansing organ and that's a byproduct.

Sometimes a female even at your age might have developed a yeast infection, particularly if you have been masterbating. If you have had antibiotics your body may acquire the yeast infection. If you are having sexual,stimulating ideas it might possibly be your body to prepare for intercourse.(not saying that you are having sex)also as others suggested you may be having your period soon. Your body could also be ovulating creating a discharge right before you begin. If you are still confused, ask your parent, school nurse, or someone you feel comfortable talking with.
