Question: I wanna get a bikini wax for summer 08!
Im really scared to get it though.. I think I can manage the pain, but I dont think I can manage the embarassment!! I usually shave down there, but I wanna get it waxed this time. Do I have to have at a certain length before I get it waxed?? How much is it (on average) and how long does it last until hair starts growing again?

You would want to have a reputable salon to do the waxing. If you have thong panties, wear those. The personnel would have you feel as comfortable and discreet as possible. Your hair does not need to be but so long. Perhaps the lenght of your eyebrows before they are waxed. I believe it would not begin to grow much up to about 2 weeks. Different people have different situations. Pubic hair is of course different than normal hair or like the hair on your legs.The personnel use drapes like sheets to protect your modesty. Waxing is a better choice,it doesnot cause bumps like the razor rash. It may seem a little reddened but the salon personnel would make recommendations to ease your mind. Try to relax, it will be over befor you know it.

I don't think it has to be a certain length but it would be obviously kinda' pointless to get it done when there's not much hair. I don't know the cost on average..sorry..but the hair probably starts growing again after a week & a half but it can be diff. for most depending on the wax.
