whether the breaking of your hymen when you lose your virginity will depend on a few factors:
1. your size
2. how gentle he is
3. his size
4. whether you have any cysts or polyps or anything else obstructive in the area
5. luck
usually if it hurts it only hurts the very first time, unless he really is, and continues to be, too rough. if he's not rough and it continues to hurt, have a gynecologist check you out and make sure there aren't other issues (including ones i can't think of because i'm not a gynecologist).
don't have intercourse until you feel ready for it, and don't have it JUST to have it. or because you think you are too old to be a virgin; have it because you feel the time is right, the person is right, and the act is right (an expression of affection for that person as opposed to a get-it-over-with ritual).

p,s, tampon use can tear the hymen but by no means automatically does; usually it does NOT. most guys are somewhat bigger than a tampon!
I'm pretty positive it only hurts the first time if your hymen isn't broken, as many say "pop the cherry" that means for your hymen to break. Unless you are someone who wears tampons during your period then you have already broken your hymen. But if you still wear pads then your hymen is still there and not yet broken.

i don't know but some say it do, others say it don't but sex - 4 the first time breaks your hymen so probably it would, well 1 day u will find out i guess good luck , oh and when u do av sex use a condom, getting pregnant on your first time wouldn't be very nice!!

It will hurt the first couple of times. After awhile your body will adjust to it. Please use a condom. You don't want to get pregnant or worst get a STD that you can't get rid of.
Plus, make sure your ready. Do it when you feel comfortable. If he loves you....He will take his time with you.
