What are the symptoms of a yeast infection?!

Question: And is it normal for your vaginal area to itch? I don't shave "down there" so I just assume that's why. The gyno is my first idea, but until then, your opinions?

A thick discharge that looks like cottage cheese with the Candida bug. the discharge may either have a starchy odor to it, or perhaps none at all, and its color can vary from white to a more yellowish tinge.
While these are the general symptoms of a yeast infection, every woman may experience one differently.
You may identify an infection by the smell and consistency of the discharge, which can be unique to you. However, certain symptoms definitely do not go along with a simple yeast infection, and they may indicate that something more serious is going on. For example, if you are feverish or is experiencing pelvic pain, these are definitely indications that you ought to see your doctor in order to receive a proper diagnosis and medical care

symptoms include cottage-cheesy discharge, burning, itching, and possibly irritation/swelling. there are Y.I tests over the counter but def. check with you gyno if you are worried

u dont always get "cottage cheese discharge" well i didnt n e way i just got really bad itching which was the most annoying kept me awake the night before i went to get some cream,
burning but i didnt get much of that either only a little

Itching, not because of not shaving.A thick, smelly discharge.Going to your gyn is a good idea. Frequent sex may cause unlevel flora to the vagina, taking antibiotics for extended time, doucheing also disturb the natural balance of the vagina.(also the normal flora is the term for it) There are over-the- counter medications. Before taking these medications or using the creams. Your gyn would be your first good move. It is good to see the gyn because the problem could be something else.
