When I first got my period I was kind of lazy about it because I didn't realize how heavy it could get. This one time I went to school. It was pretty cold out so I had this big long winter coat on. I went through most of the day but by the last class my pants felt kid of wet so I was like 'oh crap' and tried to look without being obvious, and there was a stain. I tried to ignore it because I figured my big coat would hide it. But by the end of class there was a small red stain on my coat.. It somehow managed to seep through my super-thick coat. The coat was cream colored so it was really obvious looking. I had to ride the bus home so I was freaking out the whole time. My older brother rode the bus with me and he pointed out that I had a stain on my coat and I lied and said it was a paint stain from art. (he was older than me yet oblivious) When I got off the bus near home I had to walk down this really busy street so it was really embarassing. When I got home I grabbed clothes from my room and ran to the bathroom. I literally had to peel the coat off my lower half because there was so much blood. The entire butt of my pants was deep red and it was -all- over my coat. It looked like I had bathed in blood, and I'm not exaggerating! I'm so thankful I made it home before more seeped through!
Cringe. Basketball camp, back of pants reddish, somebody told me to go to bathroom. That was when I decided to switch to tampons + pantiliners. Much much less mess.
I got my first period on an airpline while asleep. Yeah that sucked. Oh and I was wearing WHITE PANTS! My dad got pissed that other people were staring at me and he was like "WHAT, SHE SAT IN BBQ SAUCE, LEAVE HER ALONE!!!!" lol I love my dad.
drama club........ blood came through..... a boy pointed and laughed nd told everyone... NOT FUN

My most embarassing was when I was 15. It was the first time I had really *bad* cramps and had no pain meds at home. I had to go the pharmacy alone and passed out twice walking there. When I got there I felt so nauseous and the women's bathroom was occupied so they let me use the mens.
Eventually I felt better but that was all extremely embarrassing!
on a road trip with my dad. i woke up in the back seat in a puddle of.....ewwwwwwwwww. it sucked!

well i guess i'll contribute...i tried to put in a tampon for the 1st time so i could go swimming, and i didn't put it in right and when i got onto my friends boat and sat down on the white seat....well....u can imagine wat it looked like when i got up! sigh...i cringe just thinking about it..
mine are all kinda ok but my friend said that she had to cover for some one on a train for 6 hours when they were on a heavy period and they DIDNT wear ANYTHING they didnt put in a tampon or anything how grosss it would have gone everywhere aparantly it did =( ewwww but i hated her anyway
Wow, yeah, ok, this didn't happen to me, but it's still a really embarrassing story. I was an extra in a movie one time, and the director had all of the extras sitting in metal folding chairs inside of a tent. (We were supposed to be an audience watching someone perform.) We'd been sitting there for quite some time when they filmed the shot when we were supposed to stand up and clap and cheer. The cameras started rolling and everyone stood up and began to clap. In my peripheral vision I could see that there was something on the light blue dress of the woman next to me. When the scene ended, I looked at her and saw that she had an ENORMOUS red blood spot on the back of her dress! It was honestly the size of an apple, and really stood out from the light blue fabric. When we sat back down I whispered in her ear that she'd started her period. She screamed "Oh my God!" and ran off the set. I felt really bad because she looked like she was about to cry. On the other hand, I was just glad it wasn't me!
i got my first period when i was doing a school play. i had to do a dance in-front of everyone with this boy in my class, when unexpectedly he whispered in my ear "i think you have started your period" i turned around and my skirt was covered in blood everyone laughed at me while i ran crying to the girls toilets... then i realized i had no pads so i had to walk to the school nurse and get some pads and a change of clothes. *cringe*
When I was younger I forgot to bring pads with me to school one day so I had to rely on ONE all day, thankfully I had on some REALLY dark jeans that hid the mess, but on the bus at the end of the day when I got up to get off at my stop I looked down and the whole seat under me was wet! I almost cried. Terrible.
