There is nothing to be scared about. When you get your period it means mother nature has finally made you a lady. Congratulations and warm hugs for when this happy event happens for you.

No, most people are really pleased to get their first period...it's seen as a sign of "growing up."
You might have a scary moment when you get to a bathroom and find blood in your pants, but it's fine. Periods don't really hurt, they're just a bit annoying.

Often associated with the onset of prementruation is what is called premenstrual tension. Symptons can be a feeling of anxiety or nervousness but it is normal to experience this.

IT IS IN SO WAY SHAPE OR FORM SCARY!
its natural and every woman has it, millions have been through it and its ok!

its also natural to be scared, your first time will only be a little bit and very perculiar, just make sure you keep clean down there during that time and dont stress you will be ok.

I was terrified. To me, the thought of bleeding for days from my nether region was NOT anything to be anxious or excited for. When I finally did get it, I cried. It's not painful, just really inconvenient. I just didn't want to have to deal with it on top of everything else going on in my life (because everyone peaks at 14, or so I thought). It's ok to feel nervous because it's a big change. Getting your period is a sign that you're growing up and will soon have to start taking on a lot more responsibility. It can feel really overwhelming, but after that first week is over, you'll really wonder why you were so afraid.

it is not something to be scared of, because it is just a process that the body goes through to clean it's self out, and trust me when you get older you will be glad to see it come, so embrace it you will be alright

Depending on who you are and how well you know about it.
I had my first period in a sports store. I told my mom, she quickly explained (though I didn't want to know) and made my dad and siblings hurry on home saying I "wasn't feeling good". She went out bought me pads and gave them to me along with some chocolate. (Great period food.)
Don't think of getting your period as some kind of thing that automatically makes you older and you do no wrong or gives you more responsibility. It doesn't. No one besides you and your mother have to know. My dad still doesn't know.
Oh! Also, pads aren't super hard to put on. You'll figure it out.

Hello. I was nervas when i first got mine . I was 10years old ! I didnt even know i got it . I sat on the toliet , to do a wee, and then i noticed there was blood in my nickers. I just called mum , and she gave me a Pad to use. Dont be nervas, theres nothing to be nervan about. Its perfectly normal darling. Im sure when you grow up , You will laugh about this.
Hope i could help xoxo Darling
