Question: so when i am on my period i am always asking if i have a stain and i wana stop that also in pe my friends said u can see it cause of my shorts also can guys tell u are on your period and i need to think of sumtin besdies that soo i am not worried about staining myself also i need tips and hints

I have found this to be a real problem with most any woman that gets their periods. The trick I had learned from my mother many years ago has worked for me ever since. I urge you to try this. When you have your period, wad up some toilet paper and place up in your butt. This will catch any period and prevent leakage and staining on your pants. It's a bit gross, but it works. Depending on your flow of course will depend upon how much toilet paper you should use. Try it. It works.
As for if guys can tell if you have your period or not, I don't think so, unless you are extra cranky or crabby while having your period. Then they can pretty much guess that you do.

I have the same problem..The only waay guys know is if you tell them or if you have stained your pants..
when your having your period wear sweatpants in gym not shorts that way no one can tell
at first i was worried about stains to...don't worry about them because they hardly ever happen it's all mental that gets you worried.
most guys are idiots and can't tell when yoru having your period unless your really grumpy
if you're worried about staining yourself, maybe you should make frequent bathroom breaks. i also recommend that you wear either a pantie liner or possibly a pad depending on how heavy your periods are.

If you're using a tampon, just change it regularly and don't wait until you think you're going to leak. I change mine every hour to avoid a situation like that. And if you're using a pad, I'd probably do the same thing.. also maybe try using a tampon. I used to use pads and they just made me nervous and uncomfortable. Once I started using tampons that worry went away.

well for the shorts thing if your friends can see it then dont wear shorts.
and for the guys thing: well, when a girl has like a really bad attitude like almost all day then there's a chance that a guy might say, "that time of the month."
but some guys are respectful about it and dont say anything even if they think it.

change your pad often and if your comfortable enough then use tampons instead pads. just be sure not ot leave them in for more then 4 hours because you can get tss i know that being young and on your period is stressful and a drag. and no boys cant tell if your on it they just like to think that they know when your on it. a good example would be when you yell or are in a bad mood they will make a remark about you "ragging it"
you could always try using tampons,with pantyliners for backup, or if you are not comfortable with using them you should wear pads with wings. the best pads, in my opinion, are always with wings. if you use the ultra thin maxi pads, people can't really tell if you are wearing one, even through shorts. change your pad or tampon regularly, depending on the flow of your period, to prevent leaking. everyone worries whether or not they could be leaking from time to time, but don't be too conscious about it..every woman has a period and we all are concerned about leaing every now and then, so don't be worried about it. good luck sweetie ;)
Wear a light tampon with a pad as a back-up. Wear baggier shorts or just a tampon. The chamces of you staining are slim if you wear a thick pad (wear long ones!!!!) or a tampon wiht a backup. And no, guys can't tell. If a guy says you are PMSing don't panic! Guys are stupid, they think they can blame everything on PMS, and they will. I think that's why I'm a lesbian (lol).

DO NOT. i repeat DO NOT worry about stains. If you wear the underwear with the little extra layer of fabric right in that spot, it probably wont go through. expecially with a pad on.
i went for 4 hours during an exam without a pad and it didn't even go through my underwear
