I just got my first period today and i am 11 an scared help?!

Question: This is kind of cute. you remind me of myself when I was your age! Okay, here's what you do. If you haven't yet showered, then go into the bathroom for a few seconds and then call your mom. Or, pretend you're just gonna use the toilet. Whatevet. Just be like "Mom! Come here for a second! I need help on homework!" or something silly if you're embarrassed, lol, that's what I did. When she sees you in the bathroom, she'll totally get it. If not then tell her, "Oh wait, never mind...it can wait, I need to take a shower." Then, once you take off your panties, be like "Iw! Mommy, come here!" Or be like "I'm bleeding....yuck. HELP!" Something that is easy to say. Trust me, just coming out and syaing "I got my period!" is really awkward. Lol.

It's fine. Just ask your mom about what to do. DO NOT KEEP IT A SECRET. big mistake. Welcome to womanhood. (soon.) lol
remember, your mom has gone through all of this, so dont be shy to ask her.

ya that was scary to me too, i've had it for a couple years now though and it's not really that big of a deal, mostly it's a hastle to get to the bathroom during the school day sometimes and i get alot meaner, but i didn't notice that second part till recently. it does explain why poeple think i'm mean though

sweetie calm down and talk to your mother ,its very natural

Tell your mum, she will be really sensitive to how you feel because she has gone through it all too :) just like every woman.

Yes its very normal!! But true dont keep it a secret!, I did for 2 years! never told anyone, and it was the worst thing in the world!!!, just ask your mom what to do, shell prolly be happy for you lolol. But ya its good!! dont be scaredd every girl goes through ittt!
good luckk!

I got mine at 11 also just go ask your mom is she has anything you can use its ok but dont keep it a secret its the worst thing you can do got to beinggirl.com and lok around there is some pretty intresting stuff congrats you are a woman

talk to your mom!
and just go put a pad on if you haven't already.
don't be scared we all go through it, it is completely normal, even at your age.
BUT TALK TO YOUR MOM!
its really important.

Dont be scared. It just means you are growing up. I was the same age when I got mine for the first time, you will get used to this happening and one day you will be able to have children when you are much older. Hang in there it only lasts for a week then you can have a break for awhile. Good luck.

Tell ur mother!!
then u too can get pads or tampons and everything will be ok.
cramps are normal so dont worry about them and yah.

I also got mine at 11 and as my sister told me, "Congratulations you are now a women".
- take some Advil
- take a nap
- Maybe you and your mom can eat ice cream to celebrate you being an adult

sweet heart your okay.....i got mine a week b4 i was 10....if you wanna chat about it my sn is rebelpriss69...write me okay ill talk with you if you would like

Dont be shy, I am 11 and I got it this year in december, I thought i was the only one in my school that had it. But no ..I found out ALOT of people ; even in my class have it!! It's perfectly normal. Do NOT think u are a freak or something! Someone in my class got it in 2nd grade and someone else got it in 3rd grade. i was really freaked out but dont worry. And, I see some people tell u not to keep it a secret, I think u should..If u tell even one person u absoulutaly trust still dont tell them!..It leads to other people overhearing u..to boys..teachers..BIG RUMORS AND ALL SORTS OF THINGS! (happened to one of my friends)

Good luck!!

hope i helped!

P.s. Dont worry about this ok? It is perfectly normal and just keep a pad in ur backpack..( I do that =) lol )

WELCOME TO WOMENHOOD!!!
You are a young lady now.....nothing to be scared of...
Your mom may shed a tear or two....but you have to tell her.
She'll give you the basics..... watch how you sit, don't throw napkins in the toliet, change often, use body spray....she'll tell you. It's all part of a woman's life.
Be proud of being female...someday you may have a daughter & you will be there for her to comfort her & share this day with her too.

I was 13 when I got mine... and I was seriously scared.
Well, more like embarrassed....

But... there is really nothing to be embarrased about. Tell your mom. She will help you and teach you about the things that need to be done.

If you have cramps, I reccomend some hot soup and some Advil before you go to bed. It seriously works for me.

Just tell your mom. Things will be much easier that way. She will probably be really proud of you... since this indicates that you are a women =]

Good luck and dont worry!

Don't be scared to tell your mom/dad/grandparent/aunt/etc. It's a girl thing, and any man will understand too.
