Does heavy bleeding during my period mean I have a bleeding disorder?!

Question: No its normal

Answers: No its normal

it depends, you may be loosing to much blood, consult a doctor.

This is normal. Periods can be light, moderate, or heavy. It's different with everyone.

No, it doesn't indicate a bleeding disorder.

It could cause iron and magnesium deficiencies though, as when you have your period you lose high amounts of both these elements. I recommend taking supplements for them - but be careful, especially with the iron one as your body can't digest alot of theproducts which advertise "high iron" quantities as that iron is more often than not iron shavings xD

no, everyones flow is different but if it makes you feel dizzy or sick maybe your losing to much blood.

well endomitriosis is not really a bleeding disorder, its a problem with the endometrium inside the uterus

and this causes heavy bleeding during periods, usually acompanied by bad cramps pain, to excruciating
and can lead to iron deciciancy anemia

i have it, endomitriosis
have the pain, the heavy blood loss, the anemia, etc

also,
john,

Dear John S,

If you have any bleeding... or even a period... you need to seek medical help immediately!!! You are a little boy, and little boys don't get periods. From looking at all your questions on here you can get yourself into alot of trouble with some of them. Do me a favor and go ask your parents.

Josh A, Josh, Andrew, now John S...........how many other names are you going to come up with to ask your hundreds of questions? If you want to know about periods, then there are plenty of websites out there (designed for girls) which will tell you all about them, just google it.
