Will i loose weight now im off the injection as i put a lot on when i was on it?!

Question: it all depends on your metabolism, if your hormones go back to normal then you should get those lbs off, but if you metabolism does the opposite, even with normal hormone level you won't loose an inch. and FYI: taking pills can make you gain lbs. my sister is on pills for almost 5 months and wow dramatic change, boobs bigger, the butt, and the tummy area weeww don't wanna be like that... i say go for IUD.

after i got off the shot i went onto the IUD and i started loosing weight..it wasnt all by itself though i was exercising a little and trying to eat healthier

You should do - I'm off to the FPC tonight to be prescribed my pill so that I don't take the jab again. They're all convinced that I should lose the 7.5 stone that I've gained since I started it. Obviously it'll depend a little on your lifestyle - if since you started the jab you've stopped exercising and started eating twice as much then you obviously won't lose as much as you'd hope!

Good luck losing the weight, I look forward to joining you in post-jab weight-loss!

My daughter trieed the depo shot and she gained a lot of weight she had to work at it but once she got it down it has stay off

I have endometriosis and had to take a large amount of depo...

one a week, once every 2, once a month, then once every three months for a year...

I gained a lot of wieght and only lost what little I have lost by exercising.

Once its on.. you have to work it off. Unless is all watergain which isnt likely being that you have been on hormone therapy for a while. Birth control is essentailly hormone therapy, and depo contains a good amount of testosterone.

Hormone fluctuation can cause all kinds of things, and wieght gain is a real common side effect.

Good luck!

i put weight on from the pill and found it really hard to lose its not fatty weight its hormonal

yes but you still need to excer

no idea
