WHEN WILL I START MY PERiod??!
Question: OK SO I AM 10 YEARS OLD. MY MOM STARTED HER PERIOD WHEN SHE WAS TO MY SIS STARTED HER PERIOD WHEN SHE WAS 10 SO DO YOU USUALLY START AT THE AGE THAT YOUR MOM DID. CUZ I DONT HAVE IT YET SHOULD I BE WORRIED?

everyone's different. Mine started when I was 12. Ten is very, very early. I was the earliest in my grade. The earliest I've ever heard of is 9 yrs. old. So really-don't sweat it.
The average age to get it is actually more around 11-16. If you haven't gotten your period by 16 then you should talk to a doctor because your growth may not be following it's correct pattern but you're FAR from that point.
My mom started hers when she was 16. I started mine four years earlier than her. So it's not always a factor. In everything I developed kind of earlier (needed a bra in 3rd grade, lost all my baby teeth by 9, etc.) So if you already need a bra or have lost most/all your baby teeth already than you might get it soon.
But don't worry about it. I have a friend who's younger than me (14 years old) and she hasn't gotten it yet and she's still cool.

no don't be worried that's young to start but my mom had hers at 10 and I had mine at 12. Everyone is different so when your body is ready and you learn about this in Health class or by mom then you will know. You will go through puberty and have discharge first. No need to worry it is a way of life!
it is kinda likely you will start about the same time, but its not a certain, and you shouldnt be worried about it.
well u might start it soon but i think u should bring a pad to school everyday theres nothing to worry about its not a big deal
honey...u dnt gotta worry about a thing...it will come when it comes....dnt be in a hurry for it...its honestly annoying to have it. usually girls will get it from ages 9-16....some even get it later...now if u dnt get it by age 16 or later then u need to go 2 da doctor..but girls who usually have it dat late is because of starving urself, or bad eating habits, or when they're track and stuff like dat.
My mom started when she was 11 and I started at 13 so it doesn't really matter but a rule of thumb would be starting when your mom started. It's very unpredictable nobody really knows. So you should not be worried.
Im sorry to break this to you but us on the internet are not fortune tellers. Your BRAIN desides when you get your period. Their a glad for the purpose of starting PUBERTY. Im sorry if thats a forign word to you.
i started at 14, its not necessarily when your mom starts it depends on when your body is ready for it. It can start anytime from 10-17. so i've heard.
