This should help you decide.

Once you start puberty a white and/or clear, non-foul smelling discharge (mucous) is normal. The vagina is self-cleaning. .

This same discharge increases the closer you get to ovulation and when you are sexually aroused (including masturbating and having an orgasm). Trust me, you don't ever want it to go away. It's your natural lube and will help reduce friction when you have sexual intercourse so it won't hurt.

Different Types of Discharge:

White: Thick, white discharge is common at the beginning and end of your cycle. Normal white discharge is not accompanied by itching. If itching is present, thick white discharge can indicate a yeast infection.

Clear and stretchy: This is "fertile" mucous and means you are ovulating.

Clear and watery: This occurs at different times of your cycle and can be particularly heavy after exercising.

Yellow or Green: May indicate an infection, especially if thick or clumpy like cottage cheese or has a foul odor.

Brown: May happen right after periods, and is just "cleaning out" your vagina. Old blood looks brown.

Different types of infections:

Signs of yeast infections:
White, cottage cheese-like discharge
Swelling and pain around the vulva
Intense itching

Signs of bacterial vaginosis:
A white, gray or yellowish vaginal discharge
A fishy odor that is strongest after sex or after washing with soap
Itching or burning
Slight redness and swelling of the vagina or vulva

Signs of trichomoniasis
A watery, yellowish or greenish bubbly discharge
An unpleasant odor
Pain and itching when urinating
Most apparent after your period

um mm.... go to the doctors

sounds like to me you're cumming...its normal....everybody has it, even if they're not having sex.

why don't you just ask about..and if your parents are gonna think that you have sex when you're not then they have got a problem..
i rather be safe then sorry.

there is some stuff you can buy over the counter at walmart that is supposed to help. I think it is called Vagasil
Getting a yeast infection does not mean you have been sexually active dear. You can get yeast infections from wearing nylon underwear.

Yeast infections are common in women. Yeast infections are from wearing tight clothes, not washing store bought clothes and underwear before wearing them. You should go to the drug store and buy vagisil it works for yeast infections.
Also the white that comes out of you after you come is normal. Even though you are only 13 it is ok to be horny and play with yourself. That's what girls do.
You should really have a talk with your mom, sit her down and explain to her that you are still a virigin and that you have a yeast infection, if she doesn't believe you then tell her to take you to the doctor because the doctors can tell whether or not you are lying. And explain to your mom that you are having sexual thoughts and is starting to experiment on your own body before you go out and have sex with someone.

I know what you are going through.....its normal just let your body just go through that phase. Its not a yeast infection. Calm down

Hi, you do not have a yeast infection. If you do, the bacteria (known as Candida) will cause inflammation at your vagina thus it will look like this...

**refer to link: http://1st-in-cures.com/female-pictures....

You will experience not only vagina discharges but vaginal pain and irritation, severe vaginal itching. The thing is that having an yeast infection doesn't indicate you have STD or you are sexually involved.

Don't be surprise when I say this. Every female has yeast in them. However, only when new yeast is introduced or quantity of yeast currently present in your vaginal... ONLY THEN it causes the infection to occur.

Usually causes are injury to the inner vagina or people with low immunity or you are under medication such as immunosuppressents causing yeast to multiply. Douching or even spraying vaginal hygiene perfume can cause the risk to increase of yeast infections.

Don't worry you are fine. It is normal to have discharges. I have them too.

**Note: When your vagina is healthy, the vagina keeps itself clean and in a healthy state by producing secretions of normal vaginal discharges. This is a natural, good, bacteria produced by to body to prevent infections.

However if there is a pungent smell from your discharges. You should seek medical help. Don't worry, I am sure your mom/step mom will understand. They went through it and probably still is.
