EXTREME POST-OP PAiN !!?!!?!


Question: had my appendix taken out monday morning there was no technical complacations but they had a hard time getting into my belly button .. also my appendix had something super hard holding my appendix in one spot they said they had a hard time getting it off .. there not sure what it is yet but there getting it tested;; anyway im in extreme pain .. i got relaesed today around 4.30 it hurts so bad im 16 so the last time i got pain killers was in the hospital (i guess childerns hospitals dont like to give them out) it hurts so bad i dont even know what to do .. i threw up and sorry to be graphic but it was like chukie and bad .. it was really bad i too 3 200mg liquid gells after i threw up the pain was soooo bad.. also throwing up in general hurt so much and i was coughing which also hurt like no other.. i need some advise i dont no what to do..

post operative pain in abdomen and vomitting alerts us to the possibility of intestinal obstruction . urgent evaluation is recommended.

Hold a pillow tight on your belly when you walk or cough or throw up. Also if you are throwing up, do not eat anything, You will just throw it up. Clear liquids are what you can try first. Take tylenot or IB profin. It will get better

call your doctor! and they can give you pain killers! but make sure you are able to take certain meds! I hope you feel better
