ya ive taken it. Same thing if you feel ur periods are too long switch bc some work better than others
You probably just need to switch birth control. Yaz, Yasmin and OrthoTriCyclen are all really good for acne and help make your period lighter. Visit your doctor and tell him these issues, he will be able to prescribe you a pill to better suit your needs.

how long have you been taking birth control? maybe your not taking the right ones for your body and its a case of trail and error with those types of pills they either work with or against your body and every bodys body is different.
i was put on birth control as i was bleeding really heavy for up to 9 days and sometimes theyd be every 2weeks!! i was like a zombie, then when i started taking the pill, i bleed for about 4 weeks none stop but it was getting lighter and lighter each day and turned kinda brown! eww but my doctor told me this would go away and shud stick at it as its a side effect, then the periods strated getting more regular,
then after 6months they are really light compared to before and last less time.
if you stick at it they should sort themselves out after 6months to a year, been worth it for me
