Abdominal Cramps?!

Question: I never had this kind of pain...I mean, I always have Abdominal Cramps during my period, but this one is painful. I'm applying ice on the affected part but it doesn't work, I already took Paracetamol (that's what my ob-gyne told me). Any suggestions? It's hard for me to move...

I don't know if you can take Mydol while on Paracetamol (ask your doctor/consult your bottle!), but Mydol has always been my drug of choice. And I'd second what the other people are saying about applying heat. If you can, take a warm shower, or lay down however you feel more comfortable with a hot towel/hot pack over your stomache.

Feel better soon! :(

Contact your local emergency room. They will have your answers. If your clotting then I would suggest you just go there!

Try applying a heat pack to the area, ice works for some but i find heat is the most helpful. I've suffered with severe cramps to the point i couldnt get out of bed for 3 days i have a condition called dysmenorrhea. Pain killers and heat packs only ever worked to an extent what has really started helping is accupuncture and chinese herbs (given to me by my accupuncturist) if the pain is starting to interfere with everyday activities i would recomend seeing an accupuncturist they can helpo with all sorts of period related issues (plus the needles dont hurt at all)

excersising throughout the month + eating healthy can also make that time of the month alot easier
