Has anyone had this particular problem?!

Question: I have no gallbladder so its not that. Last night about 5Pm I got this horible pain in my stomach like waves of pain right to the left of my belly button. When the pain was'nt there I was fine but when it came on it was intense like labor pains this went on all night and today I can still feel it a little. Its not like it was but it still hurts. The only thing I ate yesterday was peanuts could this have anything to do with the pain? Has anyone else experienced this? Just wondering. Thanks

I have experienced this on and on and on. I had my gallbladder taken out last July. I had the same problems even after! So I take the over the counter medication Prilosec OTC ONCE a day....best in the morning as soon as you wake. It helps a lot. Sometimes certain foods still act things up such as high in fiber foods like broccoli or really fatty such as any thing fried or cheese. Peanuts I have found can be a BIG set off for these pains! The oils in the peanuts are very fattening and can cause what they call Phantom gallbladder attacks. I often get some bloating pain as well. Try Gas-X. Once you belch it right up the pain goes away. Another thing I find that helps is a very warm shower. Trust me, I know what you are going through. It is hell. Try these things!!!!!!

IT SOUNDS LIKE GAS PAIN BABY DON'T WORRY !!!!!!

why r u waisting your time to ask. u should consult to a doctor.

Ohh peanuts a gall bladder sufferers enemy. I had mine removed and man peanuts and I don't get along. You can still get attacks even without a gallbladder. How long ago was it removed.? Cause I had the same symptoms for the longest time even after it was removed. Oh and you can still get stones and they can hurt like mad.
