Out of the 5.6 L of blood in our body, most periods cause us to lose only 10- 80 mL.

So basically the chances of dying are unlikely, especially since our body is continually replenishing our blood, but the chances of women having low iron is HUGE because of the fact we lose blood each month.

well when i went on the depo shots i bleed 3 months straight then went 1 week off and 3 more months bleeding... I didnt die even though i felt like i was gonna.... so i dont think its very likely that some1 could die from it... Report It
