Depo Provera and Increased Sex Drive?!
Question: I've been on depo for 7 weeks, I am on my first ever shot.
Before Depo I was on the pill and lost 100% of my sexdrive, I was never ever in the mood! I read many women lost almost all sex drive on depo? Has anyone else had an INCREASE in sex drive on depo or am I just weird?

I had the same thing happen to me when I was on the shot. I thought it was wonderful and I never got my period when I was on it! it was almost like being a man lol they have it so easy! the only down fall is that it made me gain weight but other then that I loved it!
I had a lot of sex drive for the first few years on depo, then it went away. Sex also became painful.
Oh I now exactly how your feeling, I was exact same except I didnt lose any sex drive switching to the pill. Have you been constantly bleeding? I bled for 3 moths straight and felt depressed the entire time.
My doctor told me that I would probably lose interest in sex also, But that dint happen. She also said that woman who bleed throughout there Depo Period will have an increased sex drive, as woman are naturally hornier during that time of the month. :)
