well if your talking about a tampon "up there" then no its not safe at all. only wear those up to 6-8 hours.
but if your just wearing a pad on your underwear then sure thats completely safe :)
..actually you can wear pads as long as you want, it would cause some bacteria though..but make sure you change them about every 4 hours during the day..but sleeping with pads on is fine :)
hope i helped honey (:

Thats actually what most girls do!

If you're horizontal, chances are you aren't leaking! Just make sure the bathroom is your first destination in the morning.

You probably will : )...is it made specially for night?

i use always overnight n they work just fine but i use 2 just in case n it NEVER leaks so dont worry

there are pads designed for over night use.

if you are worried about leaks put a towel down on the bed.

most pads will be able to absorb for up to 8 hours, so if you really need that 12 hours then set an alarm and change your pad.

You don't insert a PAD. Do you mean a tampon?

I always wear pads at night when I have my period! What else would you do? Don't worry! :)

what do you mean "in"? leave a tampon in or a pad on?

in any event, don't leave a tampon in overnight. use a pad and yes, keep the pad on all night. i don't sleep without one when it's that time.

you will be fine. the only thing you can't do when you are sleeping is leave a tampon in.

its either using a pad which is what mostly all girls do or risk the chances of getting tss by wearing a tampon

thats what i do :). you will be fine. I dont know about others, but most of the time i wake up with no blood on my pad :)

Thats what your suppose to do.

Pads connot hurt you because they are worn outside of your boy. Tampons can hurt you because they are worn inside your body and keep in the towic releases your body makes while mensturating. The times for wearing a pad are only suggestions so you wont bleed through them. If you get blood on your panties, cold water and stain remover doesn't always work. If it doesn't, save those undies for next month so you wont ruin more! Good luck!

Uh, yeah it's fine. I do that all the time. =p

:]

That's what pads are made for, you cannot use tampons for bed so you have to use other options like pads, period blankets, softcups or menstrual cups. Dont' panic, it's fine.

You might leak so you may want to use an old towel on the bed just in case, in future you may want to think about using padded panties (http://www.lunapads.com ) or a period belt (http://www.reddyspads.com ) as they are more comfortable for bed or menstrual cups ( http://www.divacup.com ) or softcups (http://www.softcup.com ) as they are not likely to leak.

Using a pad won't hurt you if you leave it for that long although it may cause infections to keep the blood and bacteria around your vagina/vulva for that long without air getting to your genitals to keep you cool and dry. It's tampons that would cause problems, tampons are a huge risk as it is but more so if left for long periods of time or worn overnight when blood doesn't flow down into the tampon as much.

You may leak, if you do just use cold water to soak your bedding in, maybe a little hydrogen peroxide so get rid of the stains and then just wash as normal - don't use hot water to wash out blood as it will stain. We all leak from time to time so don't worry too much if that happens.

Oh, if you are sleeping for 12 hours you might want to go to the doctors because that is very unhealthy and would suggest something seriously wrong - most people only need to sleep around 8 hours.

Ok heres what to do! Here are 3 sujestions!
1. get a strong pad and put it a little bit in the back of ur underwear!
2. get 2 and put the right next to eachother
3.Put a normal pad on and put a dark towel under u just in case!
What is the make?
Good luck and dont worry!

yep, just make sure to change it in the morning. I wouldnt suggest doing that with a tampon though.

a Pad is perfectly fine....... even if it isnt made for over night .... at least there wont be blood ne where.......

I always sleep with a small blanket under my butt because I always seem to leak. That way, I don't have to wash the bed sheets, just the little blanket
