It probably isn't a good idea to have sex during your period. The reason for that is because the opening to the uterus is not blocked at that time and you are more vulnerable to infections particularly to the uterus, Fallopian tubes, and ovaries.

On top of that though, I don't make it a habit, I find I'm a little TOO sensitive in that area when it's the time of the month.
