When will I hear my ultrasound results?!

Question: I had one done on monday for a possible gallbladder problem, how long does it usually take for them to call with the results. the doctors at the hospitol said they would examine them and also send copies to my family doctor.

The results should be back to your doctor in 1-3 days depending on how long it takes their radiologists to read the test. No news is usually good news. If it were a seriously bad problem, you would have heard something the next day or today. You can always call your primary doctor tomorrow and see if the results are back.
