If your doctor told you that you are anemic, that doesn't mean that you are bleeding (though that is one way). Some individuals are born anemic. That means they do not have enough red blood cells being produced, and/or not enough normal hemoglobin (genes can influence this, as a genetic defect can cause hemoglobin abnormalities). But it seems like your doctor is correct. From the symptoms you have listed, you do sound anemic. But again, hemorraghing isn't the only way. There are different types of anemia (for example, one comes from vitaming B12 deficiency). To support my answer, I looked up the word "anemic" in the medical dictionary. I listed the source below. I am in a pathophysiology class for Nursing, and we just went over anemias. If you have any questions, I can always look it up for you. But, if you have any issues, you should seek medical advice. Talk to your doctor. Talk to nurses. If you don't trust your doctor, it's time to seek a new one.

I don't know what it might be for you, but my mother-in-law was anemic and the blood was going to cysts that were on her ovaries. When she had them removed, they were so full that they kinda "popped" out when they made the incision.

it means your iron is low not that u r losing blood etc. Get iron meds. its very common
