Honestly our welfare check went straight to the crack dealer when I was a kid, if we didn't have food stamps we'd have starved. I think it could be better used put towards utilities. Like gas/power/water/rent... a lot better used. No I'm not kidding.
What do you mean "what do you think of people on welfare"? This sounds like a loaded question to me.
Why should we feel any differently abt ppl on welfare than the millionaire down the street? We've all been in positions where we've needed help....even Donald Trump. Kind of a stupid question

well.. there are some ppl who sell drugs and stuff so they dont have anymoney. and i dont like that
but then there are ppl who are trying hard to work.. but just arent making it!
theres tomany different ppl on welfare to lump them all together!
There are tens of thousands of people who are on welfare, and each one of them has a different story and situation.
Some are warranted, while others are questionable. Still others are downright abusive.
You gotta take it on a case-by-case basis.
my family is on food stamps, and my momis out working REALLY hard to try and make money. we would be starving if we didnt get food stamps. altho, i know of a lot of people who do bulls*it the system,like by having a lot of kids. they should just have their tubes tied. i think welfare is a good thing for people who really need it. but some people just try to take advantage.
well i think first off thats very generalized. So as a whole i feel that they are a group of people whom feel they need government assistance. As a former welfare enrollee i think it helps alot of people who really need it get back on their feet. Also at the same time it disables alot of people from one, having motivation, and two getting stuck in that government assistance loop. They have the system set up were if you make a little bit more not even enough to get off welfare you get cut off from everything, so its easier to stay on welfare since if you make that $100 more you get cut off from the $300 on groceries that your family NEEDS and the medical assistance that you cant afford on your own. So i think its tough.
I also would like to state that no one should ever be judging ppl by if they are on welfare or wic or anything like that since it s there for hard times and unfortunately the wealthiest of ppl can fall into a hard time. I went from buying Gucci bags one week to selling them on eBay for grocery money the next. It happens, but it didn't make me a trashy person, or whatever the normal sterotypes are.
i think they are lzy people that dont want to arn a livving and should be but into hadr abor. i will never take welfare!! i hate that ere fact that food stamps even exsisted
